IGED Jr. Event Details
IGED Jr. is a day established to help acquaint young women with the opportunities available in the field of engineering. The IGED Jr. event introduces girls in 6th-8th to various engineering disciplines with interactions with women engineers, a keynote speaker, hands-on activities, and more!

For Students & Educators:
- Permision Slip/Waiver
- Registration Deadline: October 14th, 2022. We are currently at capacity.
- Permission Slips/waivers and payment of $20 (cash or check) must be received by deadline to complete registration.
- There are two ways to register:
- Register online (preferred) and send permission slip and payment via mail
- Mail the paper registration along with permission slip and payment

- Note: Because we have reached capacity so quickly in the past, this year we are limiting registration to 7th and 8th grade students only. We will open it up to 6th grade students if places remain available after October 1st.

For Mentors:
- If you would like to mentor for IGED Jr. 2022, please fill out the Mentor Registration form.
- The deadline to register is Friday, October 14th, 2022.
- We are looking for STEM professionals to mentor students throughout the day and help out with activities.
- Mentors will be matched with 2-3 students to explore the day's engineering activities, answer questions about what it is like to be an engineer, and inspire the students to learn more about STEM!
