Join SWE-KC for an evening of SWE Talks, a reception and talk hosted by the SWE-KC Fellows, featuring a keynote by Joy Wheeler, the CEO of the Girl Scouts of Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri.
Women comprise 47% of the workforce but less than 28% are in STEM jobs.
Over 1 million new STEM professionals are needed in the next 10 years.
Come learn about how Girl Scouts is working to move 2.5 million girls into the STEM fields by 2025, what Girl Scouts is doing to assure girls are prepared to pursue these opportunities, and how you can be engaged in the effort.

About SWE-KC Fellows
The Fellow Grade is an honor conferred on SWE members in recognition of continuous service to the advancement of women in the engineering profession. SWE Fellows must be nominated then selected by a a Society-level committee. The award is based upon technical accomplishments and SWE contributions.
