Who We Are
SWE-KC is the Kansas City Section of the Society of Women Engineers. The mission of SWE is to stimulate women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity. We bring SWE professional members in the Kansas City area together for the purpose of achieving Society-level goals on a local level.
SWE-KC focuses specifically on professional development, STEM Outreach, networking events, and recognizing women for their achievements.
