IGED Jr. is a day established to help acquaint young women with the opportunities available in the field of engineering. The IGED Jr. event introduces girls in 6th-8th to various engineering disciplines with interactions with women engineers, a keynote speaker, hands-on activities, and more!

Mentors

We are looking for STEM professionals to mentor students throughout the day and help out with activities! Mentors will be matched with 2-3 students to explore the day’s engineering activities, answer questions about what it is like to be an engineer, and inspire the students to learn more about STEM! We thank you in advance for your efforts in inspiring the next generation of engineers!
- Note: Because we have reached capacity so quickly in the past, this year we are limiting registration to 7th and 8th grade students only. We will open it up to 6th grade students if places remain available after September 29th.
